Dear Global Knowledge Student,

To enhance your learning experience during your Microsoft course, you have the opportunity to register for a Microsoft Student Pass to try Microsoft Azure for free (no credit card needed).


I.                    Redeeming Your Microsoft Azure Student Pass

To redeem your Microsoft Azure Student Pass please follow these steps once you are provided with your Microsoft Azure Pass Code.

         Go to http://www.microsoftazurepass.com

         Enter your activation code

         Complete the Microsoft Azure request form with the following information:

o   A Microsoft Account - formerly known as a Windows Live ID, that has not been used with a prior Windows Azure account is required. If you do not have an eligible Microsoft account go tohttps://signup.live.com to sign up for one.

o   Your name, email, and home number.

o   Read and agree to the Microsoft Azure 30-day Pass Trial Agreement and submit the request form.

         Once you submit the request form you will receive a confirmation email within 1 hour notifying you that your request has been received. Your access to Azure will begin immediately.

         If you have trouble setting up your Azure trial account please contact azpass@microsoft.com

         Global Knowledge does not manage or provide support for the Azure passes or trial accounts, Microsoft owns and manages the Azure passes and trial accounts.

Microsoft Azure Student Passes are valid for either 30 days from the date of activation or for the equivalent of $100 of usage in the Azure environment, whichever limit is reached first.


II.                  Courseware Marketplace Terms and Conditions that apply to Microsoft Azure Student Passes

Microsoft Learning Partners request the Microsoft Azure Student Passes via the Microsoft Courseware Marketplace when ordering courseware for those applicable Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) titles. Learning Partners may not claim additional passes beyond the number of eligible MOC purchased from Courseware Marketplace. By accepting the Microsoft Azure Student Pass you are agreeing to the following Courseware Marketplace terms and conditions:

         Azure Pass will automatically expire 90 days from the date the Azure Pass was issued to you.

         You may redeem the Azure pass to try Azure for up to thirty (30) days from date of activation or when the credit limit of the Azure Pass has been reached, whichever comes first.

         You must have a valid Microsoft account and accept and abide by the Microsoft Azure Pass Trial Agreement to redeem your Azure Pass.

         You may only use your Azure Pass for your personal educational use.

         You may not sell, transfer, distribute or allow another person to use your Azure Pass.

         Azure Pass may not be redeemed for cash, credit, or refunds.

         Expired, stolen or lost passes will not be replaced.

         Azure Pass is nontransferable and void if altered in any way.

         Azure Pass may only be used once.
