Today we will focus on Exchange migration from your on-premises Datacenter to the Cloud using Office 365

Please note that Office 365 is a fluid technology and Microsoft reserves the right to change the interface with short notice. This will have the biggest effect on your IT Admin staff and downstream Helpdesk Support Team.  Thankfully the effect on the end users is minimal.

Here is an outline of the hands-on Labs we plan to cover:

Day 3

Lab 5
- prep for EX migration
- outlook anywhere using 3rd party cert

Lab 6
- DNS reconfig. On-prem used the labXXXXX address to resolve OWA
..by the end of the Lab this address will point to Office 365
NOTE: subdomain used temporarily for the migration
- cutover migration of email to O365
LUC-EX1.xxx.local > mail.labXXXXX.o365ready.com
- final config of DNS for fully online EX/SP/SB
