20533 Setup Reset and other lab quirks


As you may have realized, the lab environment for 20533 is heavily customized.  Many scripts were created specially for this learning experience and are not included in a standard Powershell distribution.

Bottom line: The labs are quirky and the scripts can malfunction

How to run reset-azure and setup-azure.

NOTE: you need to run add-azureaccount BEFORE you run reset-azure OR setup-azure
This tends to run smoothly from the ISE

To setup your lab for another learning chunk you need to also run Setup-Azure




If the reset-azure script gets stuck .. the labs will also suggest that you simply leave the reset-azure portion (perhaps CTRL-C to stop the script) and then run setup-azure using a different location than you used in previous labs

If you lose internet on the LOD lab machine you can fix this by resetting it.  Here is how..


Then restart your LOD lab machine as usual (See instructions from the first day)
