20532 conclusion and more resources
20532 conclusion and more resources
In our journey into Azure from a developer perspective you learned about these basic Azure components:
- Cloud Services (as a holder for Virtual Machines and Web/Worker Roles)
- Web Apps (Web Sites)
- Storage accounts (as a holder for Tables, Queues, Blobs and Files)
- The Service Bus (as a holder for Advanced Queues, Relays, Topics and Notification Hubs)
You also learned some "real world" lessons about Azure as a moving target with changes occurring at a rapid pace.
The "Resource Manager" model for building out Azure solutions is the way of the future. Still, it was useful to have a clear understanding of the Classic cloud service model (see 20533 Day 1 )
There are many other objects in Azure still left to explore. We hope that the 20532 course will serve as a stepping stone to a better understanding of cloud services and, in particular, the Microsoft offering.
