- additional lab notes provided on the Global Knowledge portal

Please note that the Office 365 cloud product is being constantly updated and there may be significant differences between the courseware and the current release.  This course is scheduled for a re-write in May 2016 and will be numbered 20347

For now, the lab instructions are being updated on a regular basis and they are available from the same link as your lab connection.  There is a .pdf from GK and I have modified the Lab instructions for clarity here on my blog.

Q - My external IP has changed on my LUC-DC1 server.  How can I update my DNS?
A - use the following procedure

• Visit www.o365ready.com using IE on LUC-CL1
• Select the "Update Student Lab Number" tab
• enter your present "lab number", Old IP and New IP from the "webnet" Ethernet adapter
• Click submit
• Go to LUC-DC1 and open the DNS Management console.  In the "Forward Lookup Zone" you will notice that the DNS records for LUC-DC1 are still pointing to the old IP address
• Go to the LUC-EX1 server and re-run the "setupexchange" powershell script.  This will correct any errors in your DNS setup for LUC-DC1
• Go to LUC-DC1 and confirm that the DNS records in the "Forward Lookup Zone" have been corrected for LUC-DC1
