22 things can be done with Linux and not with Windows or Mac!

 

Linux or GNU / Linux (more correctly) is an open source operating system that is developed by thousands of programmers and developers all over the world. Linux is more flexible and powerful than Windows or Mac! Windows severely handicaps its own command line. it doesnt have the out of the box power or the expandability bash has. windows also fuses their GUI to their backend to the point where most things cannot be done without a graphical user interface. in linux every configuration file can be opened and edited with a normal text editor. try doing that with window. 

 
So the most important 22 things that you can do with Linux and you can not with Windows or Mac are:

1. Linux has given an unprecedented level of power to its user. You can do almost anything you want once you become "su", the super user. This allows many users/admins/coders to work wonders. You can control almost any aspect of your os with root priviliges. Though in the hands of a non-experienced person, this can be disastrous but "with great power comes great responsibility"

2. Update the system legally to the latest version available for free. The latest version of the operating system will run faster than the previous version on the same machine.

3. Easily install and run different graphical interfaces. Fast - Much faster (lighter on system resources) than Windows, Doesnt slow down after a few months like Windows does

4. Install 20 apps with one single command. Update all the programs automatically.

5. Linux kernel is open source. Remember, "its only work if someone makes you do it". Also, because of the huge sample of human intelligence being put in, its no surprise if it does come out to be so stable and sturdy. This has also had the effect on its performance on low hardware systems. Linux is known to be able to run on the lowest hardware configurations one can imagine.

 

 6. Install the same version of your operating system (Ubuntu) on multiple computers without worrying about the restrictions "license or operating keys".
